India reports 16,935 COVID19 cases, 51 deaths in 24 hours

India recorded 16,935 new COVID19 cases and 51 deaths in the past 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry update issued on July 16, 2022, a total of 16,069 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 4,30,97,510.
The active cases stood at 1,44,264, the ministry informed.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 6.48%.
