Acnex Lotion

(Methyl Prednisolone acetate & Neomycin sulphate with Aluminium chlorhydroxide complex & sulphur) : Methyl prednisolone is a corticosteroid with high potency anti-inflammatory action. Neomycin is an antibiotic with a unusually wide antibacterial range, which includes practically all the bacterial organisms associated with skin infections. Aluminium chlorhydroxide complex produces antiperspirant and astringent effects. Sulphur has long been used in the treatment of acne.

Indications

Acne vulgaris, particularlencounted in the adolescent or young adults.

Dosage

Apply once or twice a day.

Contra-Indications

Tuberculosis of skin, herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella, and in other cutaneous infections. Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Neomycin may induce hypersensitivity. Discontinue if irritation or hypersensitivity develops.
