Adhatoda Vasica, also known as Malabar Nut, is a medicinal plant known for its therapeutic benefits. It has been traditionally used in Ayurveda for treating respiratory ailments. The leaves of the plant contain the active compound vasicine, which is responsible for its medicinal properties.

Indications

-Respiratory disorders such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough -Tuberculosis -Allergic rhinitis -Sinusitis -Throat infections


Dosage

-Adults: 1-2 teaspoons of Adhatoda Vasica juice or syrup, 2-3 times a day -Children: 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of Adhatoda Vasica juice or syrup, 2-3 times a day -Consult a healthcare provider for precise dosage and duration based on individual health conditions.


Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to Adhatoda Vasica or any of its components - Pregnancy, as it may induce uterine contractions


Special Precautions

-Use with caution in individuals with liver or kidney disorders -Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice -Monitor blood pressure in hypertensive patients, as it may cause hypotension


Side Effects
