Azelastine Hydrochloride
Azelastine is a potent, selective histamine-H1-receptor blocker. Besides its selective histamine-H1-antagonizing effect, azelastine inhibits the triggering of pathological reactions provoked by leukotrienes, calcium ions and PAF.Symptomatic treatment of both seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis.
One puff (0.14mg) into each nostril twice daily.
