Despite inclement weather, people were seen visiting the stalls in large numbers at the ongoing eighth edition of the International Exhibition for Pharma and Healthcare (iPhex), organised by the Pharmacy Export Promotion Council of India, (PHARMEXCIL) at Knowledge Park in Greater NOIDA.

The exhibition, which is being held after two years due to the COVID pandemic, attracted over 330 exhibitors from across the country, showcasing their products and services and saw buyers from 30 countries visiting the stalls.

Many exhibitors said they were happy with the response from the buyers at the exhibition.

Speaking to Drug Today Medical Times, a visitor from Ethiopia said that it was a nice experience for him and his fellow countrymen.

“We are really impressed by what we saw here, I would like to invite the Indian manufacturers to come to Ethiopia and set up manufacturing units there,” he said.

Talking about his experience, a manufacturer said that iPhex provides a good platform for the manufacturers and buyers of pharmaceutical products where people can meet many manufacturers and learn about new developments, including product launches under one roof.

“Such events should be held more frequently,” he said.

Abhinav Sharda from Panchkula-based Biopolis Lifesciences who came to visit the exhibition said, he had a very good experience.

“We are getting to meet new people, getting acquainted with the new upcoming technologies and getting to learn about new opportunities here,” Abhinav said.
