Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has informed that 1 lakh people will be vaccinated in Delhi each day.

Around 1000 centers will be prepared for the vaccination. All Delhi people will be vaccinated free of cost, he further said, while reviewing the dry run for vaccination at a health facility in Delhi.

“All the healthcare workers will get the vaccine first. Along with them, people above the age of 50 years, people below 50 years with comorbidity and frontline workers including police, sanitation workers and employees of Delhi Jal Board and others will also get vaccines,” said Jain.

“All the individuals will be monitored after the vaccination for 30 minutes. If anyone faces any adverse effects, he will be treated in a small emergency located inside the center. These centers are linked with hospitals,” said Jain.
