Indications

Treatment of hepatocellular & advanced renal cell carcinoma.


Dosage

400mg bid. May be reduced to 400mg once daily if necessary.


Contra-Indications

Known hypersensitivity to sorafenib.


Special Precautions

Dermatological toxicities, Hypertension, hemorrhage, wound healing complications cardiac ischemia, GI perforation, hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation children.


Side Effects

Hypertension, Fatigue, Skin reactions, Diarrhea, acne, skin desquamation. Arthralgia, Myalgia. Erectile dysfunction. Thrombocytopenia, Lymphopenia and anemia. pain including mouth, abdominal & bone, asthenia, fever, flu-like illness, decreased weight.


Drug Interactions

CYP3A4 inducers (eg, carbamazepine, dexamethasone, phenobarbital, rifampin), Sorafenib plasma levels may be reduced. Bupropion, Docetaxel, Doxorubicin, Irinotecan, Fluorouracil, Warfarin.
