India's President Inaugurates Homoeopathy Symposium on World Homoeopathy Day

Today, on the occasion of World Homoeopathy Day, the President of India,  Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated a two-day Homoeopathy Symposium organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy in New Delhi.


In her address, the President lauded the global adoption of Homoeopathy as a simple and accessible treatment method, emphasizing its significance in healthcare systems worldwide. She commended various institutions, including the Ministry of AYUSH, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, National Commission for Homoeopathy, and National Institute of Homoeopathy, for their efforts in promoting Homoeopathy in India.

Highlighting the theme of the Symposium, "Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency," the President underscored the increasing importance of research in the 21st century. She emphasized that research and proficiency would play a crucial role in enhancing the acceptance and popularity of Homoeopathy.

Sharing anecdotes of individuals who found relief through Homoeopathy after trying various treatments unsuccessfully, the President stressed the importance of presenting such experiences with factual analysis to gain recognition in the scientific community. She emphasized the significance of Authentic Medical Research, urging for scientific rigor to boost public confidence in the medical system.

The President reiterated that a healthy nation is built on the foundation of a healthy society and expressed confidence in healthcare professionals' contributions to building a prosperous and developed India.

The inauguration of the Homoeopathy Symposium marks a significant step in promoting research and proficiency in Homoeopathy, reaffirming its role in India's healthcare landscape.
