AIIMS docs want compensation for attacked colleagues

Resident doctors of Delhi-AIIMS have demanded compensation for doctors who are assaulted.
Addressing the press at AIIMS, Delhi, the doctors said: "We will continue to protest in any form of agitation or strike till we are assured of a central law on violence against doctors." Dr Rajeev Rajnan, General Secretary, RDA-AIIMS, Delhi, said they have struck work till 6 am on June 18, 2019, but future course of action to continue or not to continue strike will be decided today evening in a Genetal Body Meeting.
The doctors are watching for the upcoming meeting of Kolkata doctors with W Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
